Debit Card Overdraft Protection OPT-IN

At Valley Savings Bank, we have made it a point to pay your debit card transactions regardless of whether funds exist in your account. But, if you haven’t told us by July 1, 2010 that you want us to continue this practice, we may have to begin declining your card.

Because of new federal regulations, we will now require your consent before we provide you with overdraft services for everyday debit card transactions. This is true even if we have covered overdrafts for you in the past. If you don’t give us consent by opting-in, we will be forced to decline your card when you do not have enough money in your account.

The link below will assist you with making an informed decision regarding these new requirements and to provide you with a means to notify us of your choice. We must have your decision to opt-in or opt-out by August 15, 2010.

What our clients are saying...

Until I experienced the supportive and accommodating atmosphere at Valley, I didn’t realize what a great business partner a bank can be.
